How this play-money forecasting demo works.
How forecast markets work
You take a YES or NO position on whether a future event will happen, using play-money points. The price of YES is the crowd's implied probability — if YES trades at 62%, the market collectively thinks there's about a 62% chance. Prices move as people forecast, set by an automated market maker (no counterparty needed).
Play-money rules
Everyone starts with a grant of play-money points. Points have no cash value and can never be purchased, deposited, withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged for anything of value. There is no real money anywhere in the product. See the full Terms & Rules.
Market integrity
Markets are priced by a transparent rule (LMSR), every forecast is recorded, and the points ledger is append-only and auditable. Moderation of discussion is soft-delete only, so nothing is silently erased.
Responsible participation
This is an educational and entertainment forecasting demo — not gambling, betting, wagering, sports betting, or investing, and not financial advice. It's for fun and for sharpening how you think about probability.
